Job Description
- Technical
project management of 12V / 48V Energy Storage Systems
- Managing
supplier timing; running PDT meetings; issue investigation and resolution;
ensuring part and / or software deliveries to benches, vehicles, and assembly
plants; etc.
- Develop
& Maintain commodity specific documentation
- Document,
coordinate, and implement design changes
- Develop
and Maintain Global subsystem / component technical specifications templates
(SSTS / CTS)
- Create
and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates
- "Close
the Loop" on learnings by updating required information (Best Practices, Specifications,
SOR Template, etc.) and document progress in Problem Resolution Tracking System
(PRTS)
- Develop
technical specifications for energy storage and power switching systems based
on 12 / 48 V systems requirements
- Responsible
for development, execution and evaluation of designs (including subsystems),
analysis, development & testing related to energy storage systems and 12
volt energy recovery systems
- Review
all In-process Electrical test plans
- Participate
in root causing and resolution of field issues related to energy storage
systems, and recommend appropriate course of actions
- Work
with the Purchasing organization to assess energy storage systems supplier
capabilities
- Support
the development of future strategy and roadmaps for energy storage systems as
appropriate
- Support
the generation, development, implementation and evaluation of new energy
storage systems as appropriate
- Stay
abreast of advanced energy storage technologies and competitive products to
achieve low cost, efficient energy storage systems
- Maintain
state of the art knowledge of methods for electromagnetic, thermal and
durability analysis and testing of energy storage systems
- Travel
as required
