Required Skills
- Experience using the remote-control features of Microsoft’s SCCM a plus
- Familiarity with Outlook a plus
- MCSE and other certifications a plus
- In-depth knowledge and experience supporting desktop environments running Microsoft Windows XP / 7, MS Office suite and Outlook
- Working knowledge / experience with MFD printing devices; laser, impact and bar code printers, bar code scanners, Smartphones, PDA's and tablets
- Working knowledge / experience of PC imaging tools (SCCM), diagnosis and remote-control tools
- Working knowledge of network protocols
- A+, Dell / Toshiba PC repair certifications or similar
- Ability to lift 50lb Ability to climb ladders and staircases to access IT equipment
- Must be able to support end-user equipment and infrastructure distributed in a 2.6M sq ft facility
Job Description
- Installation and troubleshooting primarily desktops, laptops and printers
- Local coordination, installation and on-going support for Windows7 and Windows8 desktops, laptops (Toshiba and Lenovo), printers and plotters
- Maintaining a standard image provided by the Corporate office on user laptops, desktops and peripheral devices which may include smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices
- receiving hardware, hardware disposal and software license tracking
- Requires frequent interface with the user community
- Certifications to fix Toshiba laptop is required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and Windows2010 / 2013 Professional
- Knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and Microsoft SCCM
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft’s Application Compatibility Toolkit
- Candidate must have good communication & customer service skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving & root cause analysis skills
