Job Description

  • Lead, direct and promote company owned restaurants towards increased profit and growth to differentiate our brand from the competitors
  • Ensure the defining standards for the highest quality is being met in the restaurants daily
  • Execute and ensure that the standards are being reinforced throughout daily operations
  • Utilize knowledge of contracts, accounting, profit and loss, marketing, pricing and operations to coach the management teams and drive performance
  • Evaluate margins and identify roadblocks to profitability and take appropriate action for solving issues
  • Report weekly financial and sales results to corporate and restaurant management personnel
  • Analyzes data gathered, organizes and documents findings of studies, prepares reports and recommendations for implementation of procedures and / or organizational changes
  • Develop and lead marketing strategies for the region so customers and the community are consistently made aware of offerings
  • Ensures successful rollout of system-wide programs including but are not limited to restaurant marketing, campaigns, promotional activities, new menu items, and training initiatives
  • Communicate, organize and implement systems, standards, policies and procedures
  • Mentor management teams on the value of the people development component and provide guidance on succession planning
  • Responsible for adhering and reinforcing all training programs and certification processes
  • Serve as an effective communication link between corporate personnel and restaurant personnel
  • Assist in recruitment process of area and restaurant management positions, as well as maintain a bench for future growth – Build successful teams
  • Develop and monitor the internal and external growth of the region / market through the development of people via performance management systems
  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
  • Monitor and track progress of Managers in Training
  • Stay updated on Restaurant trends
  • Control restaurant cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure that restaurant policies and employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
  • Work directly with Human Resources in all investigations concerning compliancy, security, risk management, incident / accident, and other breach of policy and / or procedures

  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests
  • Assist in all future restaurant openings including staffing, capital expenditure planning and training
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through reports, surveys and mystery shops
  • Provide reports to all levels of corporate and restaurant personnel
