Required Skills

  • Technical support experience (MSP experience is a plus)
  • Superior documentation and writing capabilities (a good way to show this would be your cover letter)
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and vendors

  • Reliable transportation (this position requires you to be at our Northville, MI office from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday - Friday)
  • Additional Notes: Any mix of Microsoft, PMI, Connectwise, VMWare, Dell, and SonicWall certifications are considered a MAJOR plus

Job Description

  • Our next Service Desk Engineer will be responsible for assisting with:
  • Improving users’ computing experiences through effecting remote monitoring
  • Resolution activities
  • Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies and maintenance processes
  • This piece of the position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources, and unbeatable super-hero movie caliber customer service
  • Deliver remote user support services and update service request information
  • Answer technical support calls
  • Collaborate and work with other staff and vendor support resources
  • Overall relationship management and the ability to required resources to respond to complex IT requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with user and vendor contacts
  • The ability to help the team maintain, troubleshoot and support our users’ networks, equipment, software and services
  • Troubleshooting network equipment and service related problems with remote control technologies
