Required Skills

  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering
  • Expertise in HCM ERP systems on a security front
  • Workday preferred
  • Good knowledge of the functional modules of HCM ERP systems like PeopleSoft, Workday
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required
  • 6+ years of design, development, testing and implementation of business applications preferably HCM applications
  • 2+ years of ERP system experience like PeopleSoft, Workday
  • Workday preferred
  • 1+ years hands on Workday security configuration is preferred
  • Workday certification is preferred though not mandatory

Job Description

  • Develops the security design, configuration in correspondence with other stake holders
  • Provides mapping of employees to security groups for assignment of security in all phases of testing and production
  • Documents security configuration
  • Creates and maintains test scenarios and materials relating to security
  • Participates in self-assessment, roll forward audits as necessary and performs audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy
  • Grants system access to users during implementation and in production in HCM ERP systems, Health and Safety, Time keeping systems and other HR related apps
  • Participates in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
  • Creates, edits and removes organization security roles for the system and provides support for issues relating to user-based security in Workday
  • Maintains assignment for User Based Security roles to Employees and / or Positions
  • Coordinates with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security
  • Looks to leverage and establish standards across the team and organization
  • Supporting testing efforts associated with Workday’s bi-annual “update” cycle
  • Assist in small enhancements to Workday, other HR systems as necessary
