Required Skills

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent
  • Understanding of common metadata concepts and applications
  • Experience working on small teams and directly with client stakeholders
  • Familiar with Digital Asset Management systems, practices, applications, workflows
  • Customer focused, with the ability to multi-task
  • Preferred Skills
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office tools (excel, word, power point)
  • Good organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Familiar or experienced using DAM a plus
  • Familiar with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus

Job Description

  • Digital Cataloging Services 
  • File preparation
  • Cataloging assets including upload of assets along with complete metadata tagging
  • Fulfillment of Assets via DAM including usage rights clearances
  • This position also fields questions regarding DAM applications; usage rights and alternate Asset sources
  • Conducts research on Brand Sites, Media Sites and social Networks
  • Creates Media server assets (upon request) via FCA applications for upload to DAM
  • Coordinator provides customer service and support and fulfills Asset requests including requests for Assets stored in or outside of the DAM
  • The coordinator evaluates requests to ensure that authorized parties are requesting the assets; intended usage is communicated properly; and existing usage rights of requested assets meet intended usage
  • Coordinator will:
  • Offer the requestor viable alternatives in situations where the requested asset is not available
  • Refer requestor to the appropriate photographer / buying group if additional usage rights must be negotiated / purchased
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to facilitate obtaining requested assets not in VAM Team’s possession
