  • Experience with the following platforms and environments: Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server (all versions active in MS lifecycle), Microsoft Windows Failover Clustering, Microsoft SQL Server (all versions active in MS lifecycle), SCCM, Microsoft ADFS, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Linux (various distros), VMWare (vSphere, NSX, Horizon), Cisco UCS, Enterprise SAN, Enterprise Faxing, Amazon Web Services, Citrix
  • GPO / GPP creation / assignment and troubleshooting
  • Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP and basic networking
  • Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience required; or in lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and five years of experience required
  • Related technical certifications, e.g. MCSA / MCSE, VMware VCP preferred

Job Description

  • US Citizens / Green Card Holders / TN Visa Holders
  • The System Administrator installs, configures, monitors, and supports all server environments and related core IT infrastructure
  • Assists with new implementations and develops processes and procedures for ongoing management of the IT environment
  • Maintains the physical and logical security and integrity of IT systems
  • Diagnoses, resolves, and documents system issues, following ITIL frameworks
  • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, physical and virtual in accordance with standards and project / operationally defined requirements
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all systems and key processes
  • Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation
  • Apply OS / application / security patches and upgrades on a scheduled basis, remediating failures to ensure a high level of compliance
  • Provide periodic capacity and performance reports
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required
  • Establish and maintain backups of all systems and perform restores when necessary
  • Provide escalation support as needed
  • Develop and maintain role related policies and procedures
  • Participate in projects and company initiatives, meeting deliverable requirements and timelines
  • Ensure operational availability of all production systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
  • Must be able to provide on-call 24x7 support as part of a rotation
  • Stay current with system technologies and architecture plans
  • Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures for data security and disaster recovery
