Required Skills

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Welding and plumbing abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot Basic Electricity up to 480V
  • Knowledge of Hand / Power Tools
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift, chain hoist, bridge crane (Forklift Certified)
  • Ability to perform Maintenance tasks with flexibility in position
  • Computer skills
  • Willing and able to work around chemicals
  • Ability to coordinate efforts with other shifts
  • Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 12+ hours; lift and / or move up to 50 lbs
  • Requires hand, arm, back, and leg strength; Also bending and squatting ability
  • Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation
  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & perform work indoors / outdoors as needed
  • Ability to work at heights of 20 feet+
  • Must wear steel-toed boots
  • Must have regular and predictable attendance
  • Must be available for 3rd shift***

Job Description

  • Complete assigned work orders & scheduled preventive maintenance assignments
  • Perform plumbing projects
  • Perform general fabrication
  • Provide feedback and solid equipment assessments to leadership
  • Function in a team-oriented environment
  • Trouble-shoot production related problems as they relate to equipment failures
  • Recognize problems and react quickly and be able to work independently
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety principles, maintain accepted housekeeping standards and maintain 5 S disciples above, on, around, and below the plating line on a daily basis
  • Carry out weekly and monthly plating equipment maintenance
  • Assure all the auxiliary plating equipment is in operating condition
  • Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for all the plating equipment
  • Perform daily and weekly plating line equipment inspection
  • Assist in the start-up and shut down of the plating line
  • Utilize maintenance connection for all PM’s, WO’s and projects
