Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial Lines insurance in a similar position

Job Description

  • Handles new, renewal and the day to day contact and service of Small Business clients
  • Small Business clients are defined by $2,500 in revenue and below
  • Also works closely with producers on new and renewal business
  • Handles the day to day contact for all small business clients
  • Issues Auto ID Cards / Proof of Insurance
  • Responsible for processing and following through on policy cancellations
  • Processes and documents all change requests from the insured
  • Handles the issuance of certificates as a back-up when needed
  • Responsible for the accounting, billing, and invoicing of all client policies for renewals, audits, and endorsements
  • Manages binder bills, finance agreements and other types of premium payment schedules
  • Completes and documents the policy renewal process
  • Responsible for audits and audit disputes
  • Handles company crits and works with our accounting department
  • Oversees the upkeep and accuracy of client files
  • Enters and maintains data in the AMS360 system and ImageRight
  • Maintains acceptable level of professionalism
  • Marketing of new and renewal accounts
  • Bonds as needed
  • Updating of customer information annually
  • Assists other SBU Account Managers when needed
