Job Description

  • Provides detailed software algorithm development, coding and validation for embedded microprocessor electronic modules, technical customer interface, development and documentation of specifications and Design Verification plans
  • Automotive embedded software development experience necessary
  • Develops detailed algorithms and code for Embedded software using C and Assembly language according to customer specifications
  • This will require algorithm and system development capability and knowledge of Version Control, Defect Tracking and Traceability of Requirements / Testing
  • Develops, documents and executes Software Requirements Specifications and Software DV Plans
  • Develops or is key participant in the System and Architecture Design for assigned programs
  • Requires knowledge of automotive electrical systems and electronic controls, CAN, and other automotive electrical environment requirements
  • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
  • Interfaces with customers to present technical and project status reports to ensure needs are met
  • Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
  • Provides reports on the status of project technical issues and milestones to customer, project team, and management. Adjusts schedules accordingly
  • Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
