Required Skills

  • Must have Kronos experience; Kronos Time & Attendance
  • Associate degree in Accounting or General Business or Certified Payroll Professional is preferred
  • A minimum of five years of relevant payroll and time & attendance experience
  • The successful candidate must have experience with:
  • PeopleSoft HRIS / payroll system
  • Internal Revenue Service payroll regulations
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 requirements as applicable to payroll
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task

Job Description

  • Assists with all aspects of payroll preparation for all locations within the company
  • Assists with the processing the payroll for the U.S. hourly union and nonunion population
  • Maintains tax and direct deposit information for employees, calculation of payroll adjustments, and preparation of manual checks
  • Audits the payroll process to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Assists with all functional aspects of the Kronos Time & Attendance System for the U.S. and Canada
  • Assists with the set-up, testing, and implementation of any updates or change requests and auditing the Kronos Time & Attendance system
  • Maintains and tests all Kronos service packs, making all change requests as needed, the set-up and review of all audit reports
