Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Quality, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in a Lead Auditor role is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the automotive industry is required
  • Microsoft Office Suites 2007 and newer is required
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with all staff and management are required
  • Sustaining a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required
  • Effective attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills is required
  • Ability to manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Experience in manufacturing process of safety systems, plastics, and rubber manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) is preferred
  • Ability to travel on short notice / as needed to multi-national facilities

Job Description

  • IATF / ISO certified internal and external process and procedures
  • Lead & conduct internal & external audits, Point of contact / host for all TG internal audits
  • Enable the effectiveness of the Quality group through on-site plant visits and analysis of quality requirements and conditions
  • Provide quality reporting, data analysis, identify trends, and follow up with NAMC’s regarding corrective action
  • Gather, manage, analyze, and interpret NAMC quality data for global TG reporting requirements
  • Organize, lead through example behavior, other members of Delivery / Quality team
  • Conduct on-site plant visits to deliver required training material in classroom setting
  • Provide any necessary back up assistance for weekly quality management
  • Continue to learn and develop strength in identifying quality issues and promoting corrective action
  • Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
  • Function in a highly collaborative environment, where flexibility and teamwork is crucial to organizational success
