Required Skills

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is a full-time, entry-level position with the opportunity for growth. Applicants should be flexible and able to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or otherwise scheduled. The position is $12.00 per hour, with full benefits, and an allotted amount of paid vacation time.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (will consider candidates with an Associate’s Degree) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management
  • Detail oriented with a high level of organization
  • Ability to source, screen, and recommend strong talent
  • Understand and discuss the positions with candidates
  • Fact finding skills and the ability to use appropriate questions to gain relevant information in order to quickly assess and identify key issues or underlying issues and the ability to use this information to draw conclusions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to collaborate and support various internal departments
  • Project management and prioritization skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to see ideas through conception and completion
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, with the ability to be discreet and professional with all levels of the organization

Job Description

  • Responsible for identifying qualified candidates for open positions at Reliance One
  • Apply recruitment strategies and programs in order to pro-actively fill departmental needs
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and conduct the initial interview
  • Continue an ongoing dialogue with candidates throughout the interview and hiring process
  • Administer and coordinate internal job postings
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates and maintain outside relationships, as well as utilize current and newly developed sources for applicant recruitment
  • Participate in career fairs and various campus recruiting events
  • Notify all candidates of acceptance and rejection
  • Build relationships, leverage networks and initiate communication with top talent for current and future opportunities
  • Identify and utilize a variety of search tools and techniques through social media channels, job boards, database mining, and cold calling to promote open positions and to identify relevant talent
  • Assist with formatting documents and data entry
  • Perform other special projects as assigned
