  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive field and a strong technical knowledge

Job Description

  • Provide controls engineering software support and leadership, along with give enhancements and direction to the organization through review, design, support, communication and execution of software engineering, debug and validation
  • This person must successfully manage -Robotics and / or Automation multiple application projects as a lead software engineer
  • Support US installations of Powertrain Automated Systems
  • Lead teams of software engineers throughout the project
  • Engineer, Startup, Debug and Production support involving PLC’s, Robots, Electromechanical systems
  • Manage technical solutions to minimize costs while maintaining reliability
  • Provide industry specific application knowledge and direction
  • Review requirement and design specifications
  • Maintain Customer Specifications and Logging of Deviations
  • Present product features and benefits to Customers
  • Provide support for Product development and Support of work experience
  • Develop tools and integration strategies to increase effectiveness and lower cost
  • Investigate and suggest architecture and technology enhancements
  • Assist in developing company Controls specifications for projects
  • Utilize functional knowledge / experience: Automation and Robotics
  • Working with engineering design projects and machine start up
  • Robot electrical maintenance skills
  • Functional Robot Program Skills
