Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, and 7-10 years related ad agency, corporate marketing experience, or similar Co Op advertising experience
  • Previous experience within an advertising agency
  • Experience with creative development and trafficking of materials
  • Experience with legal concepts including experience with financial disclosure statements as required by law and other disclaimers
  • Experience with running and managing corporate Co Op advertising programs
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

Job Description

  • Managerial support for the Marketing Department, including administration, billing and traffic support of regional group ad programs and local ad programs
  • Administration of dealer brand builder website, including creation of ad materials and regular updating, maintenance and future development of the website along with regular updating of digital assets including photo library, TV and radio, billboards, digital elements, photo archives, disclaimers and guidelines
  • Oversight and development of financial disclosures and offer disclaimers with legal departments and finance company
  • Development and execution of merchandising and sales program literature support
  • Overseeing and reconciling dealer advertising media, invoicing and billing
  • Creation and maintenance of dealer resources
  • Research and resolution of dealer requests and fulfillment of inquiries from dealers, media, end users, etc.
  • This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Provide oversight to national Tier 3 / Local advertising agencies to develop and create dealer advertising in several mediums; print, radio, TV, digital and billboards
  • Manage and oversee company Co-Op funds budget calculation criteria, budgets and guidelines
  • Ensure uniformity and legal compliance with regards to regulations governing the activity
  • Review and approve / decline individual dealer created advertising materials as requested
  • Supervise budget and reporting spreadsheets for Co-Op programs, report on program status and participation
  • Prepare budgetary reports and analyses as needed for regular budget updating
  • Manage sales lead fulfillment center can call center vendors
  • Manage trafficking of sales leads, including protocols and content for handling of prospect, and customer inquiries resulting from company advertisements and initiatives
  • Provide oversight to national Tier 1 agency for development of dealership merchandising collateral requirements
  • Manages production of collateral and other merchandising and advertising materials
  • Develop and create proposals for execution of national POS merchandising materials to support current promotional and brand messaging as required
  • Manage local dealer event marketing programs
  • Develop necessary materials
  • Archive dated materials and purge files for archiving, recycling and / or destruction
  • Ability to anticipate program changes take on related special projects and prepare accordingly
  • Must be a self-starter who can respond to program changes quickly and effectively
  • Must be able to work with a variety of different departments and personalities
  • Must be able to take on special marketing, advertising, Co Op and other related projects on short notice and produce desired results
  • Must have understanding of legal principles with regards to disclosure and disclaimer
