Required Skills

  • 4 Year Degree Accounting / Finance Major
  • 3 to 5 years accounting related experience, including journal entries, general ledger account analysis and cost accounting
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Experience with BPCS software a plus (AS400 System)
  • Self-starter, independent worker
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Very detail oriented with confidential data

Job Description

  • Calculate various monthly distributor commissions and prepare journal entries
  • Calculate various distributor commissions, credits, and statements
  • Prepare monthly reports for commissions
  • Daily sales reporting and review of order coding
  • Prepare sales reports for management as requested
  • Maintain and keep up to date the authorized corporate sales codes (Global, NAICS, and Segment) in the BPCS software system
  • Maintain “Sales Trak” sales reporting: data collection, expedite and follow up of error resolution, adjustments,   maintenance and reporting, for salesman commissions
  • Cross trained as backup for other members of accounting department
  • Prepare various schedules for annual audits
  • Prepare commission reports for payroll
  • Maintain / Administer sales reporting program (Data Link)
  • Prepare monthly scorecards and promotions in excel and other marketing reporting as requested
  • Other projects as needed
