Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and problem resolution skills as there will be interaction with line workers and plant supervisors
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel) needed as they will be working in our client Tool system to log issues and keep track of the tool in terms of its history, shipping and where it's at in the calibration process
  • This position will be based at the customer’s facility at GM Lordstown Ohio, but will possibly require 5% travel nationally
  • You will be Responsible for “company” Tools and Assembly Systems on-site (at the customer’s location) and working with the Service Team and coordinating the operations of the on-site repair center
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Unions is a Plus

Job Description

  • This position will be on site at the General Motors Plant in Lordstown, OH
  • This person will be working on site in the General Motors plant in the Tool Crib for our client company that supplies fastening tools to the plant
  • If / when a fastening tool on the assembly line breaks down or experiences issues this person will be responsible for going to the line and working with the union rep to get the part off line and into the Tool Crib area
