Required Skills

  • 3+ years of sales / business development selling within the managed services / IT space; preferably Microsoft and related solutions within our focus areas (see above)
  • Experience developing presentations and quotations
  • High level of social perceptiveness, customer service ability and
  • Experience with sales databases, quoting systems, and social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Experience generating new sales revenue in excess of $250,000+ per year in technical services and solutions; strongest consideration will be given to candidates with experience selling managed services
  • Knowledge of / experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power Based Selling, and / or Target Account Selling
  • Strongest consideration will be given to candidates with experience selling into the Health and wellness space, especially those with experience in dental offices & dental service organizations (DSOs)

Job Description

  • Travel: Significant local travel; less than 5% out-of-state travel
  • Summary: BCS Inc. is looking for an experienced business development professional to accelerate our growth
  • Candidates should have a strong existing network that would provide immediate initial access to entrepreneurs and leaders of small to medium-sized organizations in the local area
  • This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating business opportunities that are consistent with BCS’ mission to help SMBs spend more time managing their core businesses and less time worrying about their IT infrastructures
  • Candidates will match BCS’ services & solutions to detailed analysis of the business, industry and competitor trends to anticipate customer needs to identify new business development opportunities
  • Candidates will meet BCS’ core values of get it fully right the first time, whatever it takes, always be professional, keep cool, and enjoy working at BCS
  • Drive BCS’ efforts to position itself as a market leader in IT services and solutions, especially in the following niches
  • Health and wellness offices (dental, medical, rehabilitation, dispensaries); Professional service firms (legal, accounting, consulting) Manufacturers
  • Home improvement companies (roofing, lawn and garden, architecture / remodeling, landscaping);
  • Chambers and membership organizations and Family offices
  • Build a pipeline of business opportunities through leads, cold calling, presentations, trade groups / associations, and other lead-generating activities
  • Obtain new accounts to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Build collaborative, working relationships with BCS’ technical and service teams
  • Meet and exceed all activity goals and business measurements including sales calls, pipelining, win rate, average deal size, etc.
  • Identify decision makers that can gain benefit from BCS’ solutions; identify circles of influence and referral sources that can help drive business and value; perform due diligence on prospects to gain an understanding of overall business needs, key decision makers, growth factors, and the value that BCS’ managed IT services & solutions can deliver
  • Proactively build and maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, IT issues and success factors for SMBs in our focus niches
  • Be active in industry associations, including active membership, networking, and thought leadership efforts
  • Build positive relationships with your peers at BCS’ technology & business partners
  • Demonstrate follow-through with all aspects of the sales process; provide regular reporting updates to direct manager
  • Regularly update new and current customer information in ConnectWise, our CRM system; Build and track the client quotes in QuoteWerks; be active on Social Media, including Facebook & LinkedIn
  • Complete all required reporting activities such as forecasts, call reports, expense reports and weekly status reports on time
