  • Four-year Engineering degree preferred; BSME preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Experience working in a QS-9000 / TS-16949 environment
  • Strong background in statistics a plus
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Working-level second language skills is a plus
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and directors, and to present to groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Values and considers the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties
  • Ability to apply concepts and information typically taught during a four-year college or university course

Job Description

  • This employee will be assigned responsibilities as suppliers’ and customers’ main quality interface
  • This includes managing assigned suppliers’ and customers’ satisfaction metrics while implementing successful corrective / preventive actions
  • Supplier / Customer quality contact for assigned production areas including Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR), Corrective Action (CAR), and Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) resolution
  • Customer / Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) coordination and submittal / approval
  • Maintain successful quality relationships with supplier and customer through proactive activities and problem resolution
  • Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams (CIP) and lead teams in quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct / Lead designed experiments, capability study analysis, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Aid in component and tooling / fixture design and improvement
  • Gaging, testing, and inspection of materials
  • Update Behr quality documents on an as needed basis
  • This includes Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan documents
  • Conduct quality-related training of Behr personnel
  • Provide direction to Quality Technicians as needed
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25%
