Required Skills

  • Transmission experience is a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial is desirable)
  • Experience in Quality or / and Manufacturing (Min 10 years) in Automotive Industry
  • Experience in a managerial position (Min 5 years)
  • A detailed understanding of (IATF 16949 and ISO 17025)
  • A detailed understanding of core tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, CP & MSA)
  • A detailed understanding of Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing

Job Description

  • Develop and deploy the Quality Plan
  • Lead DCS Issue List updates and problem resolution
  • Achieve Quality Management System certification
  • Ensure the establishment, documentation, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System
  • Ensure that the Customer specific requirements and Regulatory requirements are included in the Quality Management System
  • Attend external audits (Third and Second parties) and follow up on audit corrective actions
  • Work along with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements to external suppliers
  • Ensure that the documents and records required by the Quality Management System are controlled as set
  • Management representative
  • Ensure that the processes needed to operate the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained
  • Report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System and on any needs for improvement
  • Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
  • The organization has freedom to resolve matters pertaining to quality
  • Control of monitoring and measurement equipment
  • Ensure that the monitoring and measurement equipment is controlled according to criteria set in the Quality Management System
  • Monitoring and measurement of product
  • Approve or reject product based on the inspection records prior to product delivery to customer
  • Ensure that the purchased product, in process or finished is inspected according to the procedures established in the Quality Management System
  • Administrate the quality assurance program
  • Determine statistical sampling processes
  • First article inspection
  • Review and approve the First Article Inspection Report and Sample prior to delivery to customer
  • Monitoring and measurement of processes
  • Ensure that the processes are monitored and measured according to criteria set in the Quality Management System
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
  • Internal and External audits
  • Conduct internal audits at planned intervals to determine the QMS conformity to IATF 16949, to Regulatory and Specific Customer Requirements; and to determine if the QMS is implemented and maintained effectively
  • Follow up on audit corrective actions
  • Control of nonconforming product
  • Ensure that the nonconforming product is controlled according to criteria set in the Quality Management System
  • Corrective and Preventive Action
  • Supply corrective and preventive actions to customer
  • Verify the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions implemented by KA employees or suppliers
  • Determine, collect and analyze appropriate data to demonstrate the suitability and effectiveness of the Quality Management System and to evaluate where continual improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System can be made
